AHMED MAKHDOUM

AHMAD MAKHDOUM

Dr. Makhdoum was born and raised in Saudi Arabia.

He obtained his medical degree from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Makhdoum joined the cardiac surgery program in University of Toronto in 2015.

Currently, He is pursuing a masters degree in Health Research Methodology at McMaster University under the supervision of Dr. Richard Whitlock.

His interests include aortic valve surgery and congenital heart surgery. He plans to pursue a career in academic cardiac surgery.  

Outside clinical and research work, He enjoys sports, personal fitness, reading about history and cooking.
